We're getting closer and closer to one of my bucket list areas to see... Arecibo, but we'll talk about that later.

Today after we got Liberty One up and running I wanted to conduct a little test of Generic Access Network or GAN, also called Unlicensed Mobile Access or UMA, and is the commercial name used by mobile carriers for external IP access into their core networks. The latest generation system is named Wi-Fi Calling by a number of handset manufacturers, including Apple and Samsung, a move that is being mirrored by other carriers. Wednesday October 11th PR Update

Shipping lines are operating, but the terminals are totally saturated and all the processes have to be done manually and with messengers. This slows down every move considerably. The situation at the airport is still chaotic with the warehouses of the airlines being damaged and airlines request immediate pick up of import cargo. All the processes are manual and messengers have to be used for everything. US Customs is operational, but they are still working in only one of the three locations that they have in the metro area. The airport office is still closed as of today.
